Incredible Achievement Results!
The unique personalized learning model we use at Mendez Middle has been proven to show amazing results. Students at our sister schools regularly demonstrate nearly double the average growth of students across the country, based on national assessments.
Check out the results of Third Future Schools' flagship school, Academy of Advanced Learning, in Aurora, CO. Their students are living proof that our unique personalized learning model really works.

In September 2019 the Academy of Advanced Learning, TFS’s first school, won a Colorado Succeeds Prize for academic growth and transformational impact. This is Colorado’s most prestigious education award.
After only two years of operation, the Academy is one of the top performing schools in the state for student academic growth.
All of our schools monitor progress using the nationally-normed NWEA MAP assessments. We take the assessments at the beginning of the year, the middle of the year, and the end of the year. So far, the achievement gains in just one semester have been incredible. The students at the Academy are on track to get close to two year’s of growth in just one year.
We will post our academic scores at the end of the year. The mid-year scores for the nationally-normed NWEA MAP assessments are included below. Note that our students out-paced the average student in the United States in both reading and math at every grade level. Our students achieved approximately one year’s growth in just five months. We know of no other school outside our network that consistently gets growth scores like our TFS schools.
We credit our great academic success to our highly differentiated and personalized instructional model and the high quality of our staff.

These are amazing results, and reflect
parents’ support of our school, the
excellence of our teaching staff,
and the focus on academics.
If we continue this trend, we will effectively
eliminate our students’ achievement gap
in just a few years.
